CHAN 2018: Former Champions and Group C table toppers, Libya is now set to tackle the Home-based Super Eagles of Nigeria, according to reports from Tangier.
Libya will take on Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Group C game at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangier, Morocco on Friday.
Kick-off is at 18h30 CAT.
The Mediterranean Knights thrashed Equatorial Guinea 3-0 in their first group match which was played in Tangier on Monday with Saleh Al Taher (brace) and Zakaria Al Harash scoring.
The win took the Omar El Maryami led team to the top of the Group C table with three points from one game. They are two points above second-placed Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Nigeria was held to a goalless draw by Rwanda in their first game of the tournament which was played in Tangier on Monday.
As a result, the Salisu Yusuf led team, are placed second on the Group C standings with one point from one game. They are only a point above fourth-placed Equatorial Guinea.
The other Group C match between Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea will also be played on Friday.
