QPR highly rated 19 year old playmaker Ebere Eze who trained with the Super Eagles of Nigeria last year has been urged to have a rethink about committing his international future to Nigeria.
Eze is reportedly close to getting named in Nigeria’s 35 man provisional list for the World Cup as coach of the Nigerian team Gernot Rohr view him as the long term successor to captain John Obi Mikel.
He impressed Rohr when he trained with the Eagles and also in a training game organised by the coach among the players after the cancellation of a planned friendly game in London.
Nigeria were clearly in the lead to secure his international future ahead of England but his performances in the last few games for QPR has made England to take notice of his abilities.
Already he has been assured that he will be given a chance with the youth set up of England, and if he does well he will progress through the ranks to play for the senior national team in the nearest future.
