‘I’m Alive’, Austin Okai Dispels Death Rumours, Says Kogi State Govt Plotting to Kill Him [VIDEO]

A prominent national youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and social crusader, Comrade Usman Okai Austin has accused the Kogi state government and its officials of concluded plans to eliminate him for not succumbing after a series of persecutions been carried out by the state government to silence him.

In a statement issued in Abuja to various law enforcement agencies, civil societies and pressure groups, Comrade Okai said the recent posting of a picture depicting how he was purportedly stabbed to death on social media ‎by one, ‘Ibrahim M Okene’ was the handiwork of agents of the state hired to carry out the nefarious act by the office of the chief of staff to Kogi State governor, Edward Onoja.

Okai informed the police top hierarchy, ‎the DG DSS, NIA and other relevant security agencies to take the act as an act of murder by Kogi State government, as those engaged to carry out the dastardly act work directly in the office of the Kogi State governor’s chief of staff.

The social crusader said despite his escape of a series of assassination attempts and arrests over his hue and cry on the maladministration in Kogi State, he was detained and charged to court by the state government who are still hell bent on taking his life.

Comrade Usman appealed to the law enforcement agencies ‎to protect him from the killer squad of Kogi State government as his freedom and safety was being trampled upon both within and outside the state by paid agents of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Popularly called the ‘Voice of the Masses’, Comrade Okai said he has written to all relevant human rights agencies ‎both within and outside the country to put the world on notice about his ordeal.

He said that the Kogi State state government and the law ‎enforcement agents in the state should be held responsible in the event of any negative development or act carried out against him directly or indirectly.
