It would be recalled the Midfield maestro was included in the 28 man Super Eagles team list for this month’s friendly but failed to turn up due to a delay in sorting his work permit in China and thus missed Nigeria’s game against Poland on Friday.

in a statement via his official twitter handle, Mikel said he is “sad” and “frustrated” with the situation as he is set to miss Tomorrow’s game.

However, the 30-year-old showed support and solidarity with the team – “… but giving my full support to the team for another win”.

Nigeria will play against Serbia in an International friendly at the Hive Stadium, London, Tomorrow at 7:45 pm
